Beef Tikka

Beef Ingredients
1/2 kgbeef, diced to 4x4 cubes
3 tablespoonskiwi puree
2 teaspoonsItalian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Stew Ingredients
2Medium white onions, chopped
2Garlic cloves, crushed
3Tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoonsPaprika
1 teaspoonCumin
1 teaspoonCoriander
1 teaspoonOnion powder
1/4 teaspoonBlack pepper
1/2 teaspoon Ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1Green hot pepper, sliced
2 tablespoonsLuna tomato paste
1/2 canLuna chick peas (400g)
1/4 cupBoiling water
1/4Green pepper, minced
A pinchOnion and parsley


  • Marinate beef in kiwi puree and Italian seasoning and salt and black pepper and refrigerate for 3 – 4 hours.
  • Sauté the beef with a bit of oil until fully cooked.
  • Sauté the onion with green pepper, hot green pepper & garlic for 2 minutes then add Luna tomato paste and paprika, cumin, coriander, onion powder, salt, black pepper and ginger powder and stir. Add the chopped tomatoes and continue stirring.
  • Add the beef to the previous mix then the chick peas and stir.
  • Lower the heat and leave for 10 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
  • Serve with sliced green onions and parsley.
